David Schwimmer
David is CEO of LSEG and a member of the Board of LSEG plc. Since joining the Group in 2018, David has overseen the transformation of LSEG from a European regional exchange group to a diversified, global leader in financial markets infrastructure and data services. Prior to his role at LSEG, David spent 20 years at Goldman Sachs in a number of senior roles, most recently as Global Head of Market Structure and Global Head of Metals & Mining. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, he practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell. David holds a B.A. from Yale University, and postgraduate degrees rom Harvard University and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for a New American Security and the American Ditchley Foundation and is a Senior Adviser to Chatham House and a member of the Principals Group for the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero.
