Omar Abbosh, CEO of Pearson, and Thorold Barker will discuss how we should learn, what we should learn and the skills that students and life-long learners will need to succeed in an AI-driven world.
Omar has been Chief Executive of Pearson plc since January 2024. He was previously President of Microsoft Industry Solutions, overseeing sales and strategy for Microsoft’s largest customers. Before that, he spent three decades at Accenture, where he served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Executive of the global Communications, Technology and Media business. He holds a degree in electronic engineering from Cambridge and an MBA from INSEAD.
