In conversation with Gillian Tett, Anthony will try to make sense of what just happened, how, why and what to expect
Anthony is the founder and managing partner of SkyBridge, a global alternative investment firm, and founder and chairman of SALT, a global thought leadership forum and venture studio. Prior to founding SkyBridge in 2005, Scaramucci co-founded investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, which was sold to Neuberger Berman in 2001. Earlier, he worked in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs & Co. Anthony is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and a board member of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation. He is the author of five books. He served on President Donald J. Trump’s 16-person Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee, and in 2017 briefly served as Chief Strategy Officer of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank and White House Communications Director.
Gillian serves as Provost of King’s College, Cambridge University, while also writing a weekly oped column for the Financial Times on global finance and business. She is a member of the FT editorial board. Before her role at Cambridge, she chaired the FT editorial board, US, and during the last decade has written two weekly columns, covering a range of economic, financial, political and social issues. She co-founded FT Moral Money, and was the FT’s US managing editor from 2013 to 2019 and has also served as FT’s financial editor, capital markets editor, acting editor of the Lex column, Tokyo bureau chief, economics reporter and a reporter in Russia and Brussels. She is the author of four books, the most recent being Anthro-Vision, A New Way to See Life and Business published in 2021. Gillian has a PhD in social anthropology from Cambridge University and is the recipient of numerous awards and honorary degrees both in the UK and the US.
