AI and Quantum: How these two technologies are impacting financial services and other sectors in the economy
Jack joins us to explain the impact of AI and quantum on financial services, from breaking the encryption that is the bedrock of banking, to portfolio and risk optimisation. We will also look at the impact of quantum on the biopharma industry, resulting in faster, safer delivery of drugs with better IRR.
Jack is the CEO of SandboxAQ which focuses on enterprise SaaS solutions at the convergence of AI and quantum tech. Previously he worked at Alphabet leading the AI and quantum teams. Jack is the author of Quantum Computing: An Applied Approach, one of the leading textbooks in the field. He is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of several tech companies, including EarthWeb/Dice, which he led from its founding through IPO. He also co-founded Vista Research, a fintech company, which he and his team sold to S&P/McGraw-Hill. Jack is a trustee of the X Prize Foundation and has been a board member of Trickle Up.
