Katharine is Vice Chairman at Christie’s and head of Post-War and Contemporary art in Europe, leading the auction house’s team of specialists across the continent. Katharine has been involved in some of the firm’s most important sales and projects globally, and works with artists, collectors and institutions advising on sales and acquisitions both privately and at auction. After studying at Oxford University, the London School of Economics and The Courtauld Institute of Art, and beginning her professional career at Merrill Lynch, Katharine Arnold joined Christie’s in 2010.
