Lord George Robertson
What next in Ukraine?
A member of the House of Lords International Affairs and Defence Committee, George will assess the current situation in Ukraine and the outlook moving forward.
Lord Robertson was 10th Secretary General of NATO and before that UK Defence Secretary. He was in the House of Commons for 21 years and among other positions was Principal Opposition Spokesman on Scotland and before that on Europe. Since NATO he has been Deputy Chairman of Cable and Wireless plc and BP’s Russian Joint Venture TNK/BP. He is an adviser to the CEO of BP, Deputy Chairman of the Edinburgh Tattoo and Chairman of Western Ferries (Clyde) Ltd. He is a member of the House of Lords International Affairs and Defence Committee.
