Patrick had a front row seat as the former Chairman and Senior Independent Director of Twitter, navigating the twists and turns in Elon Musk’s prolonged and volatile pursuit of the company.
Patrick was on the board of Twitter from 2017-2022. Prior to that, he was CFO of Google from 2008 to 2015 where he took an active part in Google’s growth agenda and ultimately supported the creation of the Alphabet structure. He is a partner at Innovia Capital, sits on the board of Lightspeed POS Inc and is an independent investor, advisor and board member to a number of startups and innovation networks around the world, including Neo4J (Sweden), Zwift (US/UK), Hopper and Wealthsimple (Canada) and Creative Destruction Labs. Patrick, an active environmentalist through his Kenauk Project (Kenauk.com and institutkenauk.org), holds an MA in PPE from Oxford, where he attended as a Rhodes Scholar, and a BBA from UQAM.
