How to fix an ailing Britain
With taxation at the highest level since the Second World War, the cost of living crisis biting hard and debt levels continuing to rise, the future is bleak. Paul joins us to offer thoughts on what could, and should, be done to get Britain growing again.
Paul has been Director of the IFS since January 2011. He is also currently visiting professor in the Department of Economics at University College London. Johnson has worked and published extensively on the economics of public policy, with particular focus on income, distribution, public finances, pensions, tax, social security, education and climate change. He was awarded a CBE for services to social sciences and economics in 2018.
