He also serves on the boards of EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), and the Aramco Foundation. He is a member on the advisoryboards of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mining (Kingdom of SaudiArabia), LUISS Business School (Italy), FGV-EASP Fundaçao Getulio Vargas (Brazil) and Cheung Kong Business School (China). He was the first European to become Chair of the Board of AACSB, the global association of business schools.
