Sir Alex was Chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service, MI6, from 2014 to 2020. He was responsible for all operations of MI6, advised the UK Prime Minister as a member of the National Security Council and maintained a global network of intelligence contacts on the UK’s behalf. Over a 30-year intelligence career, Alex experienced and then oversaw the transition from analogue to digital security, transforming MI6 in the process. He developed unique insights into the characteristics of both resilient and vulnerable organisations, knowledge that he now brings to Vega to help its clients become stronger.
