Kevin joined McKinsey in London in 1989. He later worked for the firm’s Beijing, Paris and Hong Kong offices before moving the US in 2001. He has served as Managing Partner of several US offices and of the firm’s practice in the UK and Ireland. Most recently he was Chairman of McKinsey’s Asian offices (2014-2018).
Long involved in charitable and professional causes, Kevin has served on several charitable boards and was previously president of the board of BritishAmerican Business.
His research has covered topics including global economic and business trends, productivity growth and innovation in China and Asia, and gender and diversity. He holds a first class law degree from his hometown University of Glasgow and an MBA from Harvard where he was a Baker Scholar.
